A live webinar series for parents & carers

Get to know how your child's mind actually works.

Seven weeks, one evening at a time. A small, live group where you'll understand the "why" behind your child's behaviour — and leave with things you can try that same week.

Understanding comes before progress.

For your child, and for you. Each of the seven sessions takes one pattern you've probably already seen at home or heard about from school, and explains what's really going on underneath it — then gives you something practical to try that same week.

Is this for you?

You don't need a diagnosis in hand or years of research behind you — just a young person you want to understand better.

New to SEN

Your child has been described with words like EBSA, PDA, dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism or ADHD — and you'd like it explained in plain terms.

Navigating an EHCP

You're partway through, or about to start, an EHCP process and want a clearer picture of what you're advocating for.

Wanting practical help

You want things to try at home this week, not just theory — the same approach behind Natasha's 1:1 tutoring.

Looking for community

You'd value being around other parents who get it, in a small group rather than a large webinar audience.

What's covered, week by week

Each session runs live for around 75 minutes: the topic, what's really going on underneath, and strategies you can try straightaway — followed by open Q&A.

Week 1 · EBSA

Why school avoidance is usually anxiety wearing the mask of defiance, and how to rebuild routine without forcing it.

Week 2 · PDA

Understanding demand avoidance from the inside, and using choice and collaboration instead of instruction.

Week 3 · Dyslexia & literacy

What's happening with phonological processing, and multi-sensory approaches that build confidence, not pressure.

Week 4 · Dyscalculia & numeracy

Why number sense can be genuinely difficult, and concrete ways to build it before moving to abstract maths.

Week 5 · Autism

Routine, predictability and interests as tools for learning, not just personality traits to work around.

Week 6 · ADHD & attention

Working with the ADHD brain's natural rhythm — shorter blocks, movement, and external structure.

Week 7 · Processing & working memory

Chunking, repetition and reducing load, so instructions actually land and stick.

Dates, format and price

Please note: this series shares knowledge and lived tutoring experience, not a diagnosis. It doesn't replace advice from your GP, paediatrician, educational psychologist, or your child's school SENCO.

Hosted by Natasha

I've spent 20 years teaching, the last ten focused on young people with SEN. I kept seeing students misunderstood in mainstream schools, and parents left without communication or support — this series is my way of closing that gap for more families than my 1:1 tutoring hours ever could.

Each session is built the same way I build a tutoring plan: grounded in how young people actually experience learning, not a one-size-fits-all script.

See you there ♥

What parents and carers say

"My grandson had five different tutors between September and November, and then Natasha came along and everything changed. She took the time to get to know him, understand how he learns, and adapt her approach to suit him."

— Carer of a 14-year-old, ADHD support

"Natasha has not only supported my grandson but has also given me a safe space to talk, listen and be heard during some very difficult times. Her patience, understanding and genuine care have been invaluable to us both."

— Parent of a 13-year-old, EBSA/PDA support

Before you book

Do I need to attend live, every week?

Live is best, since that's where the Q&A happens — but if you miss a session, you'll get the recording so you're not left behind for the following week.

Is this a diagnostic tool, or will it tell me what my child has?

No. This series shares knowledge and lived tutoring experience to help you understand common patterns — it isn't a diagnosis. For a formal assessment, your GP, paediatrician, educational psychologist or school SENCO is the right next step.

Is this instead of, or as well as, 1:1 tutoring?

Either. Many parents join purely for their own understanding, with no tutoring involved. Others use it alongside their child's existing 1:1 sessions with me or another tutor.

What if none of the seven topics quite match my child?

Most young people show traits across more than one area, so the sessions build on each other. If you're unsure whether it's the right fit, message me before booking and I'll be honest about it.
